Regent Street – Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Scope of Works: Design, Project Management and Construction
Design Team: Ian Trundley, Josh Knight and Tom Nellist
Completion Date: October 2016

The brief on this project was simple. Bring the out dated tired building into the 21st century. The survey photos really don’t do justice how poor the original office was. Due to the location of this building it doesn’t make sense for all floors to be offices. As a result 2 of the 4 floors in the building have been converted to flats.

The project did also cause us a headache in terms of getting materials and people too and from the site. As a result of the building not having any off road parking and strict traffic control along Regents Street. This situation just shows that here at Trundley we are passionate at what we do and we will do everything we can to overcome all issues that arise.

The office is now a bright open environment. All of the employees that now work in this office say “The office is such a pleasant place to be, it fulfills all our needs and more!” As for the flats, these are high quality 2 bedroom flats that were rented within a couple of days of being put on the market. This is a sign that our passion here at Trundley really is recognised.
