Starting out with 4 bungalows is always a challenge, in this case there was nothing in these properties worth saving. The decision was made to demolish and build new. Our client certainly didn’t regret that decision.

It was decided that a phased approach would be best to enable early delivery of 6 units. The duration of this project was 9 months. Not only were 7 of these house built for rent, but part of the planning permission condition was that 2 of these dwellings must be ‘affordable’. As a result, the houses are sold to a housing association. In this case we dealt directly with the housing association to deliver the desired product, to a high specification. We are pleased with the end result and we hope that all the new tenants are too!
